As you know, the Coronavirus (COVID-19) has been declared by the World Health Organization as a pandemic. It is a national emergency. States and municipalities are taking action in a variety of ways, but the message is clear. Flatten the curve, let the healthcare system catch up.
The spread of the virus has upended business, travel and everyday life for all of us. It goes without saying that it’s disrupting how the building industry is operating. The building performance industry is coping with trying to keep their workers safe while facing the resulting economic pressures. The BHA staff and Board will be working on creative ways to support members as they strive for balance.
The most important thing that we can do is stay informed in the rapidly changing environment. We recommend the following resources as a great way to stay up to date:
CONSTRUCTION DIVE, (news and resource blog)
US SBA (Small Business Disaster Loan Assistance)
The construction industry knows how to navigate ups and downs. BHA applauds you and stands with you as you strive to make good choices for yourself, your company, your family, and the industry as a whole.
